Emergency Veterinary Care

If you are having a dog or cat emergency during our normal hours, call your local Newman Veterinary Center immediately. For urgent vet care between 6pm and 1am, call NVC of Deltona at (386) 860-5335. We are open until 1am, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinary care is often the difference between life, death, and permanent damage.

Common Pet Emergency Situations:

  • Hit by car
  • Unconscious
  • Physical trauma
  • Foaming at the mouth
  • Unresponsive
  • Blue, purple or pale gums
  • Cat exhibiting open-mouth breathing
  • Cat straining to urinate
  • Bleeding heavily
  • Profuse vomiting or diarrhea
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Seizures
  • Ingestion of toxins, medications or any suspect substance
